Why men like pornography and even better, intercourse

the reason is complex

 

like all things in life there must be a motive

 

without a motive we do nothing

 

however as our sages teach, the first temple destroyed, due to the sin of adultery, idolatry, and murder (does it get worse?!!…) seventy years later the Jews repented; the second temple destroyed for the sin of baseless strife – we are still languishing!

 

our sages say, the first sins were known; the second, were not

 

but how can we say, on what was just said, that “it isn’t known?”

 

there are sins done from jealousy

 

in fact, there is an entire field of psychology dedicated to jealousy

 

jealousy is something we know not

 

when I indulge in, as I have just done, chocolate cake, it is not so severe that I don’t acknowledge the fact that it was the chochalate, sugar, gluten that attracted me

 

but when I indulge in the savagery of jealousy – for unlike all other passions, which is to attain a pleasure; jealousy is destructive, it is that “you should not have!”

 

so here is the subconscious process which motivate men

 

the first is the introduction of testosterone which is a hormone which causes us to desire to win, which in other words is to win / better than.. and certainly not worse!

 

the second is an interesting dynamic in which we subconsciously) create a status – so for-example, a slave wouldn’t be jealous of his master (like an employee of his employer; say that the employer has a limo, as he considers himself not in the same state) but if a fellow slave (or employee had a limo, this would make him jealous)

 

so (I really hate to write this but I feel the subject is so important, for you cannot kill a cancer you don’t see; hence I am going into the subconcious psyche) so as we have a tendency in the physical world to judge “more” as being better, hence a boy who is born with an extra organ (at least visibly) considers himself subconsciously “better” (in fact, it’s also why girls / women consider it an honor to be with men – it’s all subconscious)

 

the next stage, ironically, which also happens around puberty is the girls develop not one, extra but two! extra (breast.)

 

now this sends a man into a subconscious jealousy

 

now the jealous person desires the humiliation (“for it isn’t fair!” – again jealousy is not the attainment of what the other person has, rather the psychological egotistical “balance” which is usually done through the disillusionment of the status…) hence subconsciously a man seeks to demean
