Why marriage can and doesn’t work?!

Marriage is an amazing institution
It can and often doesn’t work!
It can work if people as the Rebbe says, understand the fundamentals behind it, namely that fundamentally man and woman are one soul divided, and united in marriage!
This understanding, makes people identify, become compassionate, hence give to one another.
However, why marriage often doesn’t work is simply because it is serving instinctual needs; which if those needs don’t get met and usually – more often in men – those needs are more fantasy than reality hence can never be met in any event (as Jerry Sprienfeld says, when men/boys read comics its not fantasy only job options!) hence frustration, disillusionment, and divorce sets in.
