Why Jews should never listen to Goyim and Goyim would do very well to listen to Mosses (of the generation)

Jews have had an identity issue from day one.
Well almost.
You see, the first Jew was Abraham and if you come to think of it, he began as a gentile, he had no identity issues – he discovered the truth and sought to bring all the gentiles into his fold.
Then came Jew number one, Isaac, already the seeds of war began, as his older brother jealous of him, was forced to leave his father’s home, which is why their descendants, the Arabs, still desire to reclaim this home.
Moving right along, Jacob fares a very similar fate, he the Jewish scholar needs to contend with his brother the “heathen” and without God’s help no Jew would be alive to tell the tale.
But then things really get interesting, for God sends the Jews into a supreme culture – the Egyptian’s prided themselves on pyramid building and many other successes – we know they possessed technology which has been lost and no one can fathom how without electricity they built these magnificent exact structures (do you know within the room in the pyramid to house the coffin a constant 72 temperature is maintained?!)
And truth be told, apart from the studious tribe of Levi the rest of the Jews became Egyptian and to become accepted they fell right into Pharos trap to assist Egypt in a building project, which end in their 210 year slavery, only to be miraculously freed by Mosses.
You see, being a Jew has a psychological difficulty – do I be different, the greatest challenge a human faces or do I blend in – do I stand out – or do I meld – or even better said, do I trailblaze or do I hide behind fear of shame.
So this group of former slaves receives a new ethical monotheism, and a new land.
But their essential problem remains the same, they fall into the immorality of idolatry and they seek to be like the other nations, appointing a king – ignoring the prophet Samuels message that you have it better with a law and no king.
It seems their cultural identity then becomes very tied into their role models; under good, that is holy, kings, they learn Torah, keep Mitzvos, but under corrupt greedy and idolatrous kings, they too follow.
Then as God has his ways of dealing with naughty children, they get a serious kick in the ….
Their Holy Temple destroyed, ten of their tribes captured and exiled, they themselves forced into exile, their pride, their haughtiness, their ability to delude themselves into a false sense of security, almost entirely erodes; and to make matters worse, he sends Haman who literally threatens, the entire nation with annihilation.
The Jewish soul is never dead, it’s only the animalistic instinctual tendencies that can make the Jew forget himself; hence they return to God with heart and soul, they don’t consider converting out of the faith and God in turn leads them back to Israel to build the Second Temple.
Now they know who they are.
Proudly they are Jews.
Well almost – some who become affluent and arrogant become Hellenized, but a very different reality has ensued, the core is very faithful to their Jewish identity.
Yet behind it all, God’ plan has not been fulfilled; for more than the Torah is meant to unite the Jew with God, it is meant to unite God into the Jew.
In other words, Judaism is fundamentally not about God, it is a mechanism in which a human being can shed their unhealthy egotistical desires, humbly accept a life dedicated to goodness and kindness.
Hence once again a new egoless Judaism/Jew is desired.
And God sends the Romans, who truly do an efficient murderous brutal job of disidentifying the Jew and Jerusalem.
Jews tenaciously, valiantly fight; it costs the Romans greatly – it is defined as one of the six greatest challenges to their, at least four hundred year empire, not to mention the Bar Kochba revolt app. 60 years later which routed Rome from Israel, for app. 3 years – Rome renamed Jerusalem; and forbade Jews from visiting – in fact they searched for who was the biggest thorn in the Jewish historical backside and renamed Israel Palestine.
Jews were now tossed like a log in a turbulent ocean, mainly at the behest of either in the main, cruel European overlords or the highly toxic inflammable and savage Arab ones.
And in this pit of hate they showed the world the meaning of love.
For no greater ability to love ensues when the ego realizes its impotency.
So getting back to the original “Why Jews should never listen to Goyim and Goyim would do very well to listen to Mosses (of the generation)” the answer is simple, the Jews have had an experience unlike any other nation – for most nations deluded by their secure status fail to truly perceive what is and isn’t meaningful – seeking grandeur, they pursue like the proverbial adage “the only difference between the men and the boys, is the size of their toys.”
- Yet in every generation a person like Mosses is born, imbued with Divine clarity of purpose – being able to see clearly the raison-detr’e of life – in our generation the Rebbe who believes all of us, Jew and gentile should dedicate his or her life to acts of goodness and kindness is able to guide humanity to a destination which will truly make us happy!
