Why it’s necessary not only to listen to the God of the Bible, but the current God, who speaks through the Rebbe of the generation, as one of the 613 commandments to listen to “the prophet like me who I will establish for you in every generation” (which the Rebbe, predicting his elevation to higher supernal realms, offered that through appointing and listening to a Mashpia this will be also effective!)

The answer may shock, stupefy, but hopefully proactively motivate you!
The God of the Bible is not the end of the story, but the beginning.
To think that what God told us 3,300 years ago is all he has to say, is to misunderstand the very fabric of God.
God is infinite, so to say that he has but a 613 point checklist- though it mays seem much for you – but the very idea that there can be a limitation to God’s desires, would of course limit God, which would make him finite, which would make him corporeal (fit into dimensions) which would make him physical, which wouldn’t make him the God of the Bible.
We perforce are forced to say, that the Bible is the starting point and as we know, as we have just celebrated Purim, there are laws in which God creates a mechanism, even for a human perspective of infinite growth in Judaism (for example, the Sanhedrin, supreme court, enacted laws, binding on all Jews for all time and have the right in the Bible, to continually enact more.)
In simple simple simple words, God is an infinite progression, like a guide, who not only creates the computer game you are playing continually, but guides along its path; but as the programmer is infinite, the levels will continually ascend, based on the levels we achieve!
