Why is it vital, critical and literally life or death, to eliminate all desires, but to fulfill God’s?

No one commits evil, thinking they are evil.

Think about that statement: Nazis killed 16,000,000 people!

Stalin killed 25,000,000!

If they had their way, they would have killed possibly hundreds of millions!

They all didn’t think they were evil!

And we look through history: how many Popes, Imams etc. etc. authorized brutal systematic murders, in the name of God, no less!

In other words, man’s mind is so confused, so much a servant of his desires, that without eradicating man’s desires, and submitting to God’s, his ability to be evil, is greater than his ability to act on his compassion! Sent via my BlackBerry from Vodacom – let your email find you!
