Why is it so easy to sin and so hard to stay the course of goodness and kindness?

Why is it so easy to sin and so hard to stay the course of goodness and kindness; when we hate sinning and we love doing good?! The reason will shock, mystify, and ultimately, liberate you! Our sages teach, it is far harder to do something God tells you to, then to do goodness and kindness YOU choose! – Imagine that; God personally comes and says “Hey,” “Hey,” “Can you do me a favor?” “Sure, I love u, anything!” “Just do xyz…;” now you think, “easy shmeezy;” Nope; Imagine what God gave Adam, and what happened; one simple request, “have the world, just don’t eat from two tress,” he couldn’t do it; and in fact all he needed to do, was wait a measly few hours (until Shabbos) and he could have; now Adam was one of the wisest of all men, far exceeding the wisdom of angels, and he couldn’t fulfill a simple request; ah’ say the mystics, when there is something important to do, that’s when the satan, the Yetzer Hara, the devil within will use all of its wile, guile and manipulation to convince you to not do it; which is the serpent convincing Chavah etc. etc.; you see my dear fellow do gooders..to sin is easy, but to beat the Yetzer Hara, without a lot of humility, and God’s infinite kindness; impossible!
