Why God is a Genius?

Today after our morning prayers in my synagogue I gave a class on “Why God is a Genius?”
You see, there is a fundamental problem – it is the catch 22 of morality.
It goes like this – if I don’t exist, I cannot be moral – for me to exist, it must mean, I love myself (for after all, that is all we are; a perception of self that we love, hence wish to fulfill our desires) However if I love myself hence my desires – for I associate the urges, impulses, thoughts etc. that I have with myself, then whose to say what I want is moral – as we know, within human desires, many are selfish, some even cruel.
So in order to overcome this, God came to man and said “I love you (I took you out of Egypt etc.) Now this is right vs. wrong – I will not force you to do what is right, for that is counterproductive, as people rebel against coercion (rightly so) However, if you do fulfill my commandments you will live, if you don’t you will die.” – In case you think, is this coercion? it is simply a consequence -as we see through all of Jewish history, for life is a consequence, the only Jews who have and will continue, are those who follow God’s religion, for the only way man can live immortally is by touching that which is immortal! Namely, what is true, namely, what is good, namely, what is kind
