Why doesn’t God simply reveal Himself

I know it sounds crazy to the Jewish mind, as we have been so so so ingrained to think, that God is invisible, but God is neither visible nor invisible (to attribute any definition, is to define what has no form) hence he can just as easily be visible.
It says, that when Moshiach comes, God will create a circle of the newly revived Tzaddikim (holy-men, Abraham etc.) and God will be in the center and every one will point and say “This is my God who I will glorify.”
But the reason God doesn’t reveal Himself, is because, if He did, we wouldn’t have freedom to choose.
