Why do people so idolize wealthy and famous people

The answer is that they erroneously misunderstand the mechanism which created their “success”
You see, we all want recognition – so we think, the person who has achieved what is “deserving” of recognition is some kind of a God – a master of destiny – Never mind the fact, all the rich and famous people of a hundred years ago, from the beginning of time are long dead and forgotten (excluding the saints – people whose values inspire us)
