Why do kids throw tantrums? Do adults throw tantrums? What are tantrums?

By zevi770 · September 15, 2013

Why do kids throw tantrums – kids are as the Previous Rebbe taught very egotistical, even though they are just kids – obviously, two year olds – the reason is this – unlike say a dog, a human has a brain – and the brain assumes things – now a child who cries and gets what he wants, their brain, begins to assume, that they deserve, hence are somehow a superchild.

Hence, when they begin to hear the word no, it rattles their self-image.

Now for, “do adults throw tantrums,” the answer is that exactly like children it depends – if they too have come to assume certain “rights,” for example, husbands may expect certain “rights” like a child does – food for example – from their wives and throw a tantrum if it doesn’t occur.

But ultimately, what is a tantrum? – it is a perception that we are not receiving, what is “OUR DUE!”
