Why couldn’t God make good and evil obvious, which it really is, but why send a Yetzer Hara who as our sages teach, is an expert at subterfuge, consistently confusing us, changing us – wouldn’t it make more sense to leave things black and white – they are hard enough as it is.

However, if you consistently pull it in a direction and it consistently, determinedly, resolutely, opposes that pull and remains upright, it is not the same as it began, with it is absolutely certain that its stand is correct!
