The Rebbe told a teacher who became the head of the world teachers association, school, teaches interpersonal relationships, as students learn how to accommodate each other socially – they teach certain life skills, but what they fail to teach is the intra(internal)personal relationship – who we are and how we gain self discipline and more importantly optimize ourselves!
Let us use the model of a computer which has great similarities to us to understand how we function!

Software – emotions love / fear hate anger resentment!
