Who stands for what?

People who stand for themselves stand for nothing
So who stands for anything beyond themselves?
Ironically most religions are actually the agradization of an individual who created it!
The only religion which is about elevating the status of the individual not the status of the leader – making a person feel more worthy and hence as he feels more worthy his behavior shall be befitting his exalted “in the image of God status” – is Judaism!
