Who are we

Are we our body – if a person is God-forbid in a coma and their body cannot move, but their thoughts and feelings exist, as many people coming out of coma’s report! so are we our thoughts and feelings?!
The Rebbe explains, we are in reality God!
A light of God in a body!
At the same time, as we don’t perceive this, we hence become our opinions!
Now there are three ways we form our opinions:
The ideal is through rational observation, so really I know I am God in a body, and I know that God’s wisdom, is love and truth!
But we also have emotions, instincts, so opinions may form from what is pleasurable or not, into what is good and bad based on pleasure or not.
And worst of all we have egos (when we don’t identify as God but independent creatures) hence our egos – particularly when we are feeling low – manifest into delusions of grandeur – once a person enters the delusional state, they become evil, for all love is based on identification, but if a person is greater than another, then they cease to identify, hence love, hence care, and become users and often abusers!
