When we God-forbid hate those who have done us no personal harm (e.g. Antisemites, terrorists etc. etc.) the emotion of hate, comes only from the ego’s jealousy of their happiness, which creates rationalizations of the others evil, allowing hatred, hence its corollary, the desire to destroy them, to manifest in one’s heart.
