When we are young we develop an identity – this is invariably an imitation of our role-models – as we progress (if it is a free society) we begin to seek the truth – so if you are seeking – the ultimate truth is twofold: 1. E-Pluribus-Unum (the goal of life is unity and harmony, which specifically results in individuals choosing to overlook faults and focus on commonalty) and 2. (which is perhaps a means to 1) continuous transformation! (which of-course, can only come through a power beyond human conception, for even the greatest mind, is limited.)
