When it comes to the physical, material, possessions – money – status etc. etc. never see what you don’t have (which will make you run like a chicken without a head, a dog chasing his tail, a gerbil endlessly running on his wheel)

rather, how much others don’t have! and when it comes to the good you’ve done, never see what you’ve done (for then you will be proud of yourself, content, and like a lazy lion do nothing but let your animal soul desires take over) rather always see how much more, greater saints than you, have done!
