When I look at the news it seems that the world presented is the fake world

Is the real world sensationalized stupidities, oddities, murders and the life of the rich and famous
Obviously not
So then pray tell where oh where is truth?
Where does the real world begin and fantasy end?
This is probably the most profound question we can ponder
For we all want to be part of the world
But if the world presented is a fantasy and if the real world lies beyond its den then where is the world we seek
Are we going to simply, like sheep to the slaughter, follow the box?
Shall the box decide cultural norms, based on instinctual sensationalizations?
The answer of course is that there are two worlds.
God himself predicted and every day we speak about it in the famous Jewish prayer the Shema.
The first world is the real world, it is inside you.
The entire universe in fact, is reflected within you.
There is God, there is the Satan, there is the choice between good and evil, there is hope, there is fear and there is the ability to triumph, to shine a candle of goodness over innate instincts for laziness, depression, arrogance, pleasure, comedy etc.
This is where reality begins and ends and all of us – in fact for thousands of years, this was the accepted challenge amongst the only people in receipt of the real world – namely the Jewish people (for example I had a grandfather whose face radiated an ethereal glow and I asked him once – for our perceptions formed in childhood or youth become our adult attitude – what was his education amongst the greatest educators of Chabad in Russia of bygone times – so he said quite simply, that Michoel Teitelbuam taught him as a child “Within us there is the force for good and bad and one must think positivly so we should win the war.” Ninety years later he lived his truth.)
Certainly to all religious seekers this basic truth that man is a battlefield between two souls was the basic understanding.
In the modern era, when promiscuity was desired, a newfangled theory, called the theory of evolution was promoted – interestingly most scientists believe that it is rubbish, but as we mentioned, the mind chooses to believe what gives license to the instinctual desires – so if I am an animal the theory goes, then there is no need to fight, rather to embrace my animal instincts.
In this manner the entire conception of good and evil was ridden and we see the modern chaos of today.
