Whats going down

O.k. there were philosophers who began with the premise – if I can hurt my foot, it means my foot is real.
Today we know (as medical science and Jewish mysticism teach) that the mind has a 3d image of the body – in other words, if I hurt my foot, my foot doesn’t actually feel a thing – it is my brain which makes me feel (in other words, you can – which is a fact, get an itchy hand even if a person doesn’t have a hand.)
Then we need to ask, if everything we touch is actually merely information relayed to a 3d imaginary body, which makes us think that we have a foot, then what is, or isn’t reality?!
As we now know, in fact nothing is really real – all is perceptions (Einstein’s theory of relativity (all perceptions are relative) was the first major scientific understanding that our physical reality is a perception and as Heisenberg’s discoveries expanded, it turns out, that atoms shift into position as we look at them.)
So obviously, to say, reality that I see, hear, feel, taste, touch, is real, because I see, hear, taste and touch it, is not correct!
The only truth is, as Chassidus teaches: (effectively) we are in a classroom – we are infinite pupils and teachers – we have an infinite teacher – who has infinite educational materials (namely our experiences, even thoughts).
