What’s Cooking?

By zevi770 · December 4, 2012

Imagine this

A person is like a pot in his heart

Inside this pot can be any mixture of emotions

Ultimately the dominant emotion is cooking

So first of all we need to know ourselves, what’s cooking? – the easiest way to see what’s cooking, love or hate, compassion or worry, bliss or depression is simply look at your thoughts.

When in love you are happy, when in hate you are angry about the evil you see in others, when in compassion, your heart is soft with compassion towards another/s, when you are depressed, you often imagine suicide scenarios etc. etc.

When we worry, we think over and over and over about the scenario that we worry about, unusually trying to conjure up solutions to quell our fears.

But the point of this blog is not what’s cooking in us, rather to be able to see what’s cooking in another, well thought creates speech, so all you need to do, is discern the speech.
