What we need to recall, is, that the Rebbe was not a individual – as the Rebbe says, about the Rebbes before, they were only windows, allowing the undiluted pure information, inspiration, Divine light, to flow through them – hence a Rebbe cannot be understood without the context of Judaism in general – as all the Tzaddikim and prophets before, beginning with Mosheh, they served three fundamental functions: the first a role model how to rise beyond the dross culture into a sublime truthful existence; secondly, how to obediently follow God; and thirdly, how God is not limited, yet reveals ever greater levels of Divine inspiration, hence transformation, generation after generation!
