What we can observe gleaning from the Rebbes

 

 

We often look at the giants among us; the Rebbes, Moses, Abraham and think – “boy they were something special.”

 

This is true, but in point of fact, the reason they came to this earth (as the Rebbe explained to Judge Sifton inquiring “what is a Rebbe?”) was to serve as role-models.

 

In other words, we are born into a society, a culture.

 

These people were unique in their ability to sift through what is dross and what is gold.
