what we all need to know

everything that we know is at best what we think

 

what we think is what we consider to be valid

 

but what we think, if we base it on the history of billions of people over the past 5,000 + years, has a statistical average of being .000001 % true

 

the Rebbe who was aware (to what appears) of all literature, ideas, philosophies and most importantly Jewish mysticism says, there are thousand falsehoods, but a single truth – which is self-evident

 

and in absolute truth, even if I told you the truth, you a. wouldn’t believe nor b. would you care

 

for our mind is not controlled by rational thoughts, rather by desires

 

so only when your desire for truth outweighs your sexual and egotistical desires (and conversely, when you are free from anxiety which robs you of any equilibrium, occupying your mind with fantasies (of protection etc.) it is then that you will, as the famous adage, “when the student is ready, the master (truth which is revealed by the one true master) will appear”
