What the Syria destruction really means

 

 

Rabbi Jacobson taught that the four regimes (see last blog) were not only sequential world powers, but represent a slow progression of human awakening.

 

I don’t remember the exact details but the gist of it is, humans are caught between two opposing forces.

 

These two forces are internal, but are the cause of external chaos conflict war, just as they cause internal chaos conflict wars.

 

The first is the animalistic desire for ego – “I want” – this “I” has no  limits, for all it is concerned about is I!

 

On the other hand, there is God within us – God as we know is absolute unity, a simplistic oneness in which no divisions, separateness, exist.

 

Hence the battle.

 

All external battles are really caused by the separate I’s.

 

In other words, humanity has currently seen in Syria how one man’s ego can destroy “his” people.

 

If anything, Syria is the ultimate testament to the destruction of ego.
