What on earth is going on?

What causes stars to pulsate? your heart? the universe?! (as we know, the whole universe continuously pulsates in and out of existence!)
Well that’s easy, God.
The hard question is, why?
Well, as the Rebbe says, technology gives us access to understanding God, for the mind can only understand in comparisons.
You see, why do we invent video games?
Well, obviously, so people can play them.
Now as an inventor of a game there can only be two possible motives: the first is profit and the second is love.
Yes, it may not be that I need your money, it may be like a parent to a child, as I love you, I wish to entertain or bestow pleasure to you!
Ah’ here we get to the essence of all essences, the reason behind all reasons.
Because God unconditionally loves me and you, he wished to bestow pleasure.
But you say – I don’t feel pleasure, in fact, I feel much resentment, perhaps anger, and well maybe misery?!
Well that’s because you are not playing the game.
The game – which you are free to play or ignore as it states “See I have placed before you life and death, good and evil, Choose Life!” goes like this:
The more you ignore selfish desires and indulge in selfless; the more you ignore what you don’t have and indulge in seeking to assist; the more you ignore your perception of what your reality should be and engage in just fulfilling your purpose, the happier you become : )
