What none of us realize (revealed in Jewish mysticism) is our thoughts, are invariably our emotions

In other words, we are the observer – like a guy watching a show – our thoughts are the show – but as we think we are thinking, we don’t realize, our thoughts are being created

Now you may think, “What is he thinking!”

But let me ask you – have you noticed how very different our thoughts, on happy vs. sad days, depressed vs. exuberant moments, moments of depression, moments of hope.

Yes, the channels are all there (anger (“he is so evil” = must destroy) love (“s/he is so beautiful” = must bond) depression (“I am such a failure” = commit suicide (hence the mind produces fantasies of suicide) hope (for example “Moshiach is coming” – awesome! (hence the importance of having hope, as it can transform gloom to brilliant joy!)
