What is the bottom line message of the Rebbe

This is a highly critical question, for it states that Moshiach knows the Torah even better than Mosheh

The Rebbe’s incredible ability, being malchus, the one who imbibed all that preceded him and the Rebbe knew every single Jewish sentence ever written and then to be able to transfer, highlight, and stress that which is most important.

  • A Jew is a worker / serves God – this is his (in fact all people and things) sole / soul purpose of existence.
  • This brings one inner peace (for schizophrenia, feeling torn between desires, is what causes us discontent, while a single achievable goal is the very definition of success, hence joy, hence inner peace.
  • This mission is not only in Synagogue or in Torah study rather primarily in one’s work, for God is not separate from the world he created; hence Judaism doesn’t view work and God as two separate realities nor food, sex etc. rather it is all in your intent – when you intend to work for God, eat for God, have marital relations to make your wife happy as God desires, then this becomes as important (if not more important for it is the process of overcome selfish instincts for spiritual ones) just as holy as putting on Teffilin, Keeping Kosher etc.
  • Of course every generation has a mission, it is our mission to bring Moshiach.
  • The Rebbe stated that the key idea of Moshiach is the unity of God within man, this is occurring, but we hasten the coming of Moshiach through a number of things: The Rebbe stressed
    1. Giving charity
    2. Loving your fellow Jew as yourself
    3. Studying, hence believing in, desiring, – about Moshiach
  • The Rebbe further emphasized very strongly that every Jew should appoint a Mashpia – spiritual Chabad mentor, a role model of all he aspires to, to give him advice (though he must request it) on his spiritual endeavors.
