What is sacred?

As I watch the criminals, the police in my country of residence, South Africa, setting up road blocks to take bribes – well known fact – I think about, what it is that they lack?
As we hear of black people murdering someone for a digital device, I think, what it is they lack?
And perhaps closer to home, as we hear politicians lie, we think, what is it that they lack?
The answer is “what is sacred?”
