What is really really really important to get – the gaol of God is not that we should not be ourselves – if that was his goal, he wouldn’t have created us – but as God said to the first man “Lech Licha” (make that the first real man – spiritual seeker) “I will show you who you yourself is” – for by nature, the image we create of ourselves in childhood which becomes our identity is of course limited by the perception of a child – “what I see is reality” (for it is only sense not intellect based.)
