What is God’s agenda?

Rabbeinu Bechayah taught: Three things are necessary to be a religious Jew, one, to believe God is good; two, to know what Judaism teaches, for one cannot keep a religion one knows not; and three, self-discipline; for one cannot do what one believes one should, without the ability of self discipline.

But here’s the deal, without one – two and three, will also not make one religious; for why work for a boss who doesn’t reward; and as we can tell empirically, for no one in their right mind would work in a job that doesn’t pay them.

So understanding what’s God’s agenda, and seeing if you buy into it, is a critical factor!

The truth is, God is goodness.
