What is a Chossid, a unique fire, a new light, inspired by the holy Baal Shem Tov

Taught the Rebbe Rashab, the master of Chassidus as follows, In the olden days, street poles, were desolate and dark; the streets cold and foreboding; but one man had a job to light up the world! This fire he would take from God’s flames (for does not all fire come from God?) But the long match on which the fire danced, was his own; and like a busy-bee with determination; with self-sacrifice; lantern to lantern; pole to pole he would go; knowing all the while, that his was a unique mission, the mission to make desolate hearts feel loved; lives void of hope, filled with hope; transforming existential meaninglessness, into existential joy!
