What if you could put truth – infinity itself! in a box – the Bible of Jewish mysticism the Tanya was called by Rabbi Levi Yitzchok of Berdichev: “Amazing how such a big God can fit into such a small book” – You see, we obviously cannot grasp infinity – but what we can grasp are the systems that infinity uses – It goes like this – “In the beginning there was love… – love expressed its love by creating individual free-choice entities – The way these entities have free-choice is through a combination of two opposing realities, the first is what is called an animal-soul, for like an animal, instinctually it is attracted and recoils from preprogrammed pleasures and fears – secondly this animal-soul is given a G-dly soul – this G-dly soul adjunct (for the animal soul comes first and is the primary identity) is an awareness of right and wrong – However the person is also given a mind – the mind is absolutely unique (in terms of the physical structure of the brain, though we share 98% of our DNA with a chimpanzee; excludes the prefrontal lobes where independent evaluation (divorced from emotional baggage which are instinctually based) are carried out – the uniqueness of the mind lies not only in objective observation, but also in the ability to control the instincts; hence we can work not only reactively like all animals, but based on future or past rewards or lessons – This is what gives us freedom of choice – However as we know, we are driven very much animalistickly – hence game-theory – game-theory (as tweaked by Professor Aumman who won a noble prize for his research) goes like this – in the beginning, men are led constantly by their instincts; but as their instincts cause chaos, war etc. they begin to choose to reject war – we see this empirically, after two world-wars, for the first time in human history nations declared “no more war” – Britain, France etc. gave up empires! – this is unparalleled in all of human history – eventually Russia did too – I believe God is using game-theory on the fashtunkeneh (savage) Arabs – for-example Lebanon, which had civil wars between 1975-1990 resulted that currently Lebanese figured out, “it’s better to have peace” – so this is the societal structure – However as game-theory applies, not only collectively, but also individually, and this is Maslow’s Hierarchy, for in the beginning we seek instincts, but as we fulfill those instincts, mainly as we begin to realize that it – for following the rule “all pleasures continually indulged in, loses its pleasure” – we begin to search for meaning – and once we hit this level, eventually we are touched by infinity – now infinity itself (for this is the true culmination of the original intent) is well infinite! – in other words, it bestows every single possible blessing! which very rudimentarily speaking consists a. of Peace (for all the pleasures in the world wouldn’t be worth anxiety) b. Growth – a constant ability to go beyond your current paradigm – now growth itself results in Peace – for Peace is the absence of ego, and when you are constantly growing beyond who you currently are, the ego has no room
