What Einstein didn’t realize

Einstein realized something very grand indeed, namely the theory of relativity.
The theory of relativity is really, more a psychological understanding, rather than a physical; though the novelty was that the physical is somewhat psychological, if not entirely – “it’s all relative” as he famously explained it for the layman (upon request:) “when you are sitting on a hot tray a minute feels like an hour, and when you have an engaging conversation with a pretty woman an hour feels like a minute!”
In other words, Einstein realized that things are relative to one another.
What he didn’t realize, is, something that he dearly fought against his entire life, most famously summed up in his famous statement against Heisenberg’s Uncertainty Principle (which he had to agree to, based on evidence) “God doesn’t play dice with the universe!”
You see, Einstein was convinced – somewhat rightly – that God who he believed in strongly and felt close to, was a mathematician!
What he couldn’t fathom, and as Heisenberg told him, don’t tell God what he can and cannot do!”
In other words, and this was perhaps the great revolution of the Rebbe’s thinking, that God is infinite; a little bit, as Einstein saw, the theory of relativity, but in God himself!!!
Einstein perceived our reality as being infinite, but God’s reality as being, ironically, finite!
Specific unrelenting rules governed his procedure, for as a mathematician he could have no other plausible understanding of the amazing mathematics behind the universe, as he once said, “God laughs at our mathematical problems, as nature equates seamlessly,” which is true, as there are many mathematical equations, none less famous, than the divine equation, pie, etc. within nature!
But what Einstein took for granted, was somewhat Aristotelian in his thinking, that there was a constant – it was beyond his comprehension that the universe, as science has proven, and Kabbalah taught for millennia, is, constantly, no different from a light switch, energizing the energy within matter constantly; so while Einstein came up with HOW MUCH ENERGY THERE IS IN AN ATOM, E=MC2, what he couldn’t fathom, is that the energy that comes into the atom is not a static, rather, – not only as Heisenberg proved, a dynamic, unpredictable; – but in fact, a miraculous phenomena!
So all in all, what does this mean – Kabbalah teaches, that everything is relative – that we are the Creators of the universe!
All of the energy that happens above comes about as a result of the type of energy we create below!
As the zohar simply, succinctly and correctly surmises – God’s “face,” mirrors ours – our happiness creates his happiness, our sadness creates his sadness!
It is for this reason that Kabbalists were adamant that man must be happy – in fact, one of the last published messages of the Rebbe, is that being happy will bring Moshiach!
Yes, you heard right, simply being happy!
But why?
The answer is, because God in his unbelievable love to us, is not like a king to his subject, rather, like a parent to his child – when the child smiles, the parent smiles, when the child cries, the father and especially mother – and God being a creator is more mother than father – feels sad!
So my friends, if what I am saying is true – and I try not to lie – it means very simply, succinctly and most importantly, adamantly, we must see the good in life – we must be grateful every morning for our blessings – we must forgive and forget! – for destiny lies not in God’s hands, but in ours!!!
