What does God really want, does he want us to eat kosher, keep Shabbos? or does he want us to be loving people? or does he want both? or does he want something else entirely? – in my estimation, God effectively has given us a paradigm of who he is, and that is the unconditional love of parents to their children (at least parents who unconditionally love their children) such parents want nothing for themselves and studies show, parents want, in this order, two things for their children, the first is, that they should be happy, and the second, that they should be moral!
