What does freedom of choice mean?

Freedom of choice is the single most difficult concept to understand.
Harder than understanding the most difficult question of why do bad things happen to good people.
You see, freedom of choice posses a paradox.
Can a world run by an infinite God, who is directing every move, in fact, we know that Kabbalistickly speaking, the very first moment God designed the world, every single event was designed which is how Tzaddikim were literally able to see the future for it happened in the past.
This is even true based on modern physics.
So can there be freedom of choice?
Firstly modern physics has discovered that there is no freedom of choice.
But is there no freedom of choice?
Don’t we all know that we are free to choose?
Is anyone preventing what I look at, whom I marry, what I choose to do in my personal life?
When no one is watching, and there is no influence besides me, is someone truly dictating my actions?
The answer to this, is one of the most fascinating pieces of information you and I will ever know.
As I just blogged (see Understanding God) our perception and understanding of the secrets of God are at the peak, especially as our loving Rebbe revealed to us so much
The Rebbe defines freedom of choice as follows.
We are living under an illusion, the truth is God Himself causes everything, even our sins!
However at the very same time, we freely choose our sins and our repentance.
In other words, we, being under no compulsion to act in a certain way, are truly choosing in our minds, heart and desire how we want to act.
At the same time, it was God who set up this entire system.
Why would God have us choose darkness?
Well as we recently blogged, a person can only appreciate, light, truth / if he has first been in the darkness, falsehood, meaninglessness of modern life.
