What distinguishes a human from an animal

There are many factors, but most significantly, it’s Identity
A human has a perception that “I exist”
An animal simply has instincts – the desire to live, to have pleasure and not have pain!
Now what is an identity?!
Obviously who I AM.
Now identities psychologist teach, are formed in a person’s formative years.
But the great problem in life is twofold: firstly, is the imitation of the role model a good one? So say Al Capon’s son can’t exactly have an identity that includes not stealing other people’s money; and two, what happens to the person whose perception of themselves has been shattered??
That is called an identity crises!
The person no longer understands who they are; and like a magnet sucking up junk, they become susceptible to anyone’s influence; for beyond anything, a person first and foremost seeks to know who they are.
But what should our identity be?
Every person, as the Bible from the creator of man teaches, is simply an imitation of God!
