What can our society / can’t our society – afford

By zevi770 · March 26, 2020

The corona virus underlies the most basics of all dilemmas

What can our society / can’t our society afford?

You see, on one hand, from a purely medical perspective which of course is to save lives, if we never ever went out of our homes people may live.

But is life about not dying?

Of course, I am not saying that this isn’t the most important consideration, but I want to highlight the dilemmas:

The first dilemma is, whereas we wish to allow people free self-determination, can we afford pornography (as studies show, a single exposure messes up a boy’s perception) (drugs is a good example for we have decided as a society, we wish to not allow.)

2. We wish to give people free expression, but from when liberal fanatics got the Supreme Court to take God out of the public school, so the only factor that makes people moral – namely, the belief in Divine judgment, is obliterated… now we have kids taking semi-automatics and murdering.

3. Nowhere is this mistake bigger than in allowing kids access to violent games, movies, which as studies show, believe it or not, they imitate.

4. How about on a global – does it make you feel safe that more and more countries like Saudi Arabia (16-19 of the 9/11 suicide bombers) with the help of the US Government are building 16 nuclear power plants?! – how about Turkey… (Russia of-course gets credit for helping Iran, that believes when the world will be filled with blood up to a horse’s knee, the messiah will come.)

5. We all have a love-affair with technology – it’s just so cool… – but the inventor of Tesla, Elon Musk, says, AI that can be used for such cool things, can also be used for every uncool things – do we not protect things, that have immense power?!

6 While on the subject of international relations – as obviously stupid as it is to have to mention it – but in a time in human history when great Governments, nay Empires, such as the British, French etc. felt it was only right to grant independence (and not to coerce people) why do Russia and China insist on using old fashion expansion ( to be fair, Russia took of Crimea, which was really part of Russia, and given away by one of their Previous Dictators who came from Ukraine – and not having all the facts about the Ukrainian war, I can’t really comment – but what one can criticize Russia, is for propping up, sadistic evil regimes, such as Venezuela, – aren’t we meant to be a force for moral goodness – people remember those who were for good and kind, not strong and cruel – this is a fear protective delusion.)
