well the bottom line is – you have those, fortunate to be in environments that reality is safe and loving – as such, they will imitate their elders (as we see, humanity has done, literally from the beginning of time) – then you have people – tragically, who society – it can be a miserable parent, nazi, terrorist, bully etc. has caused them to suffer from both shame and fear (usually of more shame) and in the this fear we are swimming in toxic juices (literally our biological and mental functioning alter) and then you have the whole point – for those who can escape the darkness… – and by continuing to grow, they cosmically cause the world to likewise
