Well if I were in charge of the world, here is what I would do to resolve the crises in Russia – first of all, war is a bad way to resolve things, for when you go to war, you anger the other side that feels their dignity was violated, thus to restore their hurt pride, there is precious little they won’t do – so the conflict resolution which works, is called mediation – I would put, both the leader of Crimea and the leader of Ukraine in a room, and have them discuss what solution would they agree to – concessions may be painful, but the fact is, war is even worse – if I had the backing, I would offer them both aid to encourage the concessions, for ultimately, everyone wins through mutual concessions, and everybody loses through animosity, fighting and certainly war!
