We naturally desire the maximum reward, for the minimal effort

By zevi770 · November 13, 2013

In truth, this is not our true desire, for we are a composite of two opposing modus-operandi

The first is the animal soul, which simply wants everything for nothing

The second, is our Divine soul and rational minds – now we wish to be proud of ourselves, so if we achieved without effort, it would be impossible to be proud

Hence, now this is a hard and fast rule; as God desires to give us true happiness, namely, to be able to be proud of ourselves; Nothing Worthwhile Occurs Without Effort!
