We must say it was not truth God decided to create – in fact the Medrash relates, that before God made the world he asked truth if man should be made and truth said "Well man lies, so no" – but then He asked kindness, and kindness said, "Man does much kindness!" – So God threw truth to the floor and built the world for kindness (in this is everything – there is no such thing as absolute truth, but all kindness is.)
