You know, it states that before the sin of the forbidden fruit, Adam and Eve were in intimate union.
After the sin they were embarrassed.
What exactly happened?
The issue is, as one lady asked the Rebbe about sex and the Rebbe replied “it is like nuclear energy – it can be completely constructive or destructive.”
The holier something is, the greater its constructive forces; likewise, the greater are the opposing forces sewking to use the very same thing destructively.
The constructive part of intimacy is union – forming a loving bond in a manner which creates the ultimate – “And they will become one.”
However, the ego also seeks to use sex as a means to subjugate, dominate and ultimately denigrate.
