The first is love – what we are attracted to, hence the literally millions upon millions of drug addicts and addicts to other narcissistic tendencies, be it fame, fortune etc.
The second is fear, hence perhaps the even greater, millions upon millions of people who live with phobias; of people, of not having enough money, etc. etc.
Last but not least, is truth: communicate with God – you can do this through asking God what to do, and the first reply in your head is his answer to you (all the great Rebbes used this and it’s true!) for then your instinctive loves don’t become addictions; and you will overcome all phobias!
