We have a tendency to think that happiness comes from being more – not necessarily having more, but quite simply thinking, we are more – hence people ogle “more people” be they a famous movie star, a ceo of a company, perhaps the President of a country – even though we despise tyranny, nonetheless we still ogle Kings, mafia bosses etc. etc. but the true happiness, is not being more; its being less! for the humbler we become, the more our capacity to love others – due to identification, enters.
