we exist in-between – we are in-between two universes: the higher is Divine and from the Divine comes the Torah, now the Torah is not only a general ritual, rather, as Chassidus never tires to teach: it is an ongoing conversation (for each of us must always advance, and God is always, if we seek (to hear) teaching… as the Baal Shem Tov teaches, “Everything you see and hear is a lesson”) – conversely there is the dungeon: for beneath us lies the lowest level; ego, a narcissistic desire to irrationally get our way (it is narcissistic and irrational for it is not even about what is pleasurable… it is simply about victory, ego, dominance – This was the Kelipah, evil of Pharaoh, which through the original destruction was somewhat ameliorated… though we each must overcome it’s insane predilection.) The second is instincts, for motivated by both self-preservation and desire to not have pain nor shame, and to achieve both glory and anything instinctively pleasurable… You, Your Mind, The Conscious You, is caught between heaven and hell
