We don’t begin to understand how precious freedom of choice is – in essence, to paraphrase our sages, there is only one thing we need to choose and that is to ask God to turn our hearts towards goodness and kindness, for all reality is determined by God, but that singular desire / request, is, the catalyst, which once God sees / hears us desiring to be good, he will take care of everything else
