We can take life in fantasy – a collection of instinctual desires, as well as idealistic ones – we can take life fearful – fear, anxiety, which on one hand focuses the mind, but the focus is not on construction but on the prevention of personal loss, people in fear are not rational, they may be somewhat effective, as fear is a powerful motivator, but likewise they are suffering and conversely as we are jealous of one another, they will usually begin to see why others who are not in fear (say Jews who come from a loving society or Americans) are evil, and start doing whatever they can to destroy them – aka antisemitism, nazis, terrorists, black radicals who are all of the above (if one reads their “ideologies of hate”) but thirdly, there is the truth, that God created two brains in us, the fantasy, desire-based; and the fear anxiety-based; as we go through life we begin to realize that both are well, simply instinctive, emotional and non-rational – eventually, we begin to live in the third reality – truth, which by necessity means submitting our desire to God
