We can either live in the illusion that our reality is real (Einsiten said reality is an illusion albeit a persistent one) we can escape to spirituality (or other forms) or we can fulfill the purpose (merging heaven and earth, soul and body, love and unity, wealth and distribution, knowledge and sharing, man and woman etc.)
