We are not flames, we are candles, however through connecting to God, to the Torah, To Judaism, To Jewish Mysticism and most importantly to our Rebbe (who is God’s light undiluted on planet earth hence he encompasses Jewish Mysticism, Judaism, the Torah and radiates Godliness) we then become a lit candle, and that light can banish darkness for it is the nature of light to do so.
