we are in essence love – love is what God is, and as we see empirically in children they have tremendous identification and compassion; but the problem is we have a ego, the ego believes both we exist and our existence is of prime-importance, hence when threatened even with shame (as we assume our body is who we are, hence someone shaming me might mean, they are willing to God-forbid annihilate me) out of fear we acquiesce – we may become shamers too
